Calgary Expo 2016: Renegade Arts Entertainment Editor-In-Chief Talks New Books

The Editor-In-Chief: Alexander Finbow of Renegade Arts Entertainment.

The location: Canmore, Alberta - nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

The topic: New graphic novels and Calgary Expo 2016.

Alexander Finbow, the editor-in-chief of Renegade Arts Entertainment sat down and told me about the new books they have coming out this year, and their return to the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo for the seventh year in a row. He gives us the goods on a preview they'll have at the Calgary Expo: their first anthology comic book, Arctic Comics, featuring stories from Inuit writers and artists, and many more. The official launch takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 4, 2016 at McNally Robinson. Also joining in the convention fun this year, is the very talented Jeff Martin, of Redcoats-ish and many other great works including Hockeypocalypse, Heat Comic and Where is Zog? that he's been doing with Heavy Metal. There will also be other special guests at the Renegade booth, such as award-winning graphic novelist from Winnipeg, GMB Chumichuk, who worked on Underworld with writer Lovern Kindzierski, as well as one of the writers on The Loxley's and Confederation, Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair, making his Calgary debut. Well, it's about the time you hit play on the fancy little movie below and have a listen to Alexander Finbow talk graphic novels.
