Tomorrows #1 From Curt Pires Is Fan-Fu*king-Tastic!

As I'm sure you can tell from the headline, I loved the first issue of the Tomorrows from writer Curt Pires, artist Jason Copland, colorist Adam Metcalfe and letterer Colin Bell.  Set in a world where art is outlawed and freedom of expression is non-existent. The Corporation sees and knows all and will stop at nothing to maintain their power and control over everyone. But there's one group who stands against the Corporation to ensure that people have hope - the Tomorrows.

The character development and story set up is quick and to the point. A fast-paced book with a lot of story packed into it. The head of the Corporation simply seethes evil and the Tomorrows are a dynamic group that I am looking forward to learning more about when issue two hits. Also, without giving ANY spoilers, I have a feeling you'll get a kick out of the personality behind the super-computer that helps the Tomorrows.

Okay, I have rambled on long enough. The Tomorrows - published by Dark Horse Comics - is one of the most engaging, fun and original sci-fi comics I have read in a long time. Make sure you buy it on July 8th!
