Lovern Kindzierski, writer of the Shame trilogy, took time from his ridiculously busy signing/meet-and-greet session at the Calgary Expo to speak with me about his story. Not only are these books wonderfully written, where you can easily lose yourself in the world Kindzierski has conjured up, but the art of John Bolton definitely pulls you in to the story of Shame even further. I asked Kindzierski about the collaboration with Bolton and he says the time they spent working together really delivers the true magic of what is taking place in the story. Plus, he likens their working relationship to that of the old Marvel-style, with a tight story, yet no in-depth dialogue, where it's broken down by pages rather than panels to begin.

Renegade Arts Entertainment publishes this series and it's edited by Alexander Finbow. Kindzierski (pronounced kin-jer-ski) and Bolton aren't stopping, as they are starting on a new Shame book. Now it's time for you to hit play on the Soundcloud link and listen to Kindzierski talk about the creative process of Shame as well as some details on the next story.
