I had a chance to speak with Ian Nicholas at the 2018 Panel One Comic Creator Festival, and he is the writer of The Heroic Age of Galactic Exploration with Jack Shackleton. It's like Jacques Cousteau, but in space. The premise here is to document life they encounter in the stars, but also search for Jack's missing father. I’ve read the first three issues, and the book is a pretty fantastic combination of great storytelling, accompanied by incredible art by Nathan Millar.
