At the 2018 Edmonton Expo, author Konn Lavery, talked to me about his Mental Damnation book series. As Lavery mentions, Mental Damnation is not just the name of the series, but also the name of the brain disease that the protagonist gets. Set in a world that is pretty much like “Lord of the Rings meets Alice in Wonderland.” It's chalk full of ghouls and demons that task the main character on how she can escape hell. Or is it all really just in her head?
