This past July, Renegade Arts Entertainment turned 10. That’s no small feat in today’s publishing landscape. However, it’s no surprise either, because of the amount of incredible content and creator-owned stories Renegade has published over the years is second to none. From horror to thrillers and comedy to historical, and everything in between, Renegade publishes a breadth of content for just about any genre. And, some genres that have yet to be established. Here’s a company that was initially started in England, and then made its meteoric rise in Canada, from it’s mountain lair in Canmore, Alberta. Long-time friend of our site, Publisher, Alexander Finbow, took time to chat with me at the 2019 Calgary Expo. He talks about the 37 published books released to date (with more to come) and how Renegade Arts Entertainment got its start. “There are so many talented artists and writers working in graphic novels, and it’s interesting that so many of them are from Alberta.” Listen to the full interview (link is below) with Finbow and learn more about how this company got its start and the books they currently have on-the-go.
On a personal note, congratulations to you, Alexander, and the entire team that make up Renegade Arts Entertainment. 10 years is an incredible milestone and here’s to many more years of stellar content to come! Thanks for all you do to enrich the lives of your readers , and for showcasing creators from Canada and beyond.
