Okay, get your favourite fro-yo, pause The Sopranos and listen to this fun and insightful interview (below) I did with actress Patty Guggenheim at the 2022 Edmonton Expo—her first-ever convention as a guest, or even attendee! To say Madisynn (with two “Ns” and one “Y",” but not where you think) is a breakout hit, scene-stealing character on the Disney/Marvel series is a massive understatement. Madisynn is loved by viewers of all ages of the show, especially my 12-year-old daughter—to which Patty was quite taken aback by (in a very good way). Guggenheim absolutely loves hearing this type of fan feedback because as she says:
“Hearing that a 12-year-old girl was moved or excited by my character, is my favourite thing to hear, because I was in that same position when I was her age. Somebody who left an imprint and on me…it made me passionate about acting. That’s my favourite part, is hearing that it’s reaching young women.”
Aside from the excitement of being part of the HULK-SIZED hit Marvel TV series, Guggenheim starred in the highly popular and funny series FLORIDA GIRLS, and this December stars in the sequel to The Binge, The Binge 2: It’s A Wonderful Binge.
