If there's one comic talent you can always count on appearing at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, it's Jim Zub. And whenever I get the chance to speak with the super-busy and super-nice comic writer and artist, I jump at it. Here's a man that has been working on his creator-owned, as well as commercial properties, and there's no slowing him down. Seriously, check out this amazing list of books: Skullkickers, Wayward, Dungeons & Dragons, Figment, Figment 2 and so many more. All of which you can buy over on his site zubtales.com or at your local comic shop. And hey, coming out this Wednesday, May 4 his latest book, Marvel's Thunderbolts! Jim talks about his take on this cast of characters and their role in the current Marvel universe. He also dishes on the process of writing for both commercial and creator-owned books, and the balance he sets for himself while working on multiple books. Plus, making time for that little thing called life. Jim also gives us some great insights on nerd culture - or pop culture - as it stands today.
