Calgary Expo 2017: Nathan Fillion. 'Nuff Said.

I vowed, that the one panel at the Calgary Expo that I wasn't going to miss was Nathan Fillion. Fillion was ever the crowd pleaser and yeah, he brought the fun. The Canadian - from Edmonton, Alberta - came out on stage to a standing ovation and before he sat down he asked the crowd what the score of the Edmonton Oilers game was. Thankfully, much to his delight, the game hadn't started yet. He took multiple questions from the audience. Fillion was just as great with the kids asking questions, as he was some nervous adults. There was singing, improv and a hell of a lot of gratitude from Fillion for all of his successes. And he made it very clear, that while he loved everything he has worked on, from Firefly to Castle and Modern Family to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, his FAVOURITE series was and is: FIREFLY! Plus, he let it be known that on every planet on Firefly when he rode a horse, it was always the same horse. And his name was Fred. (By the way, Oilers beat the Ducks 2-1 last night.)
